What is EntaTool?
EntaTool is a utility for Entanet customers which makes accessing and reviewing your current bandwidth usage simple and easy. It brings all the needed data from various different sites and displays them in one window. It will show you the status of the centrals you are on, your current bandwidth consumption and even the bandwidth you're using right now. Its killer feature however, is to tell you how much bandwidth you've used today which is something Entanet cannot tell you until the following morning.

Current phase: Alpha
Because EntaTool is a very new piece of software, it needs testing by as many Entanet customers as possible. Since it's in 'Alpha' phase, this means the software is likely to contain many bugs and incomplete features. However it is also the best time to get features you would like, integrated into the program. People can communicate with each other, and with me about EntaTool using the forums here.

EntaTool main:

- Shows the status of up to 6 centrals in both the main window, and in the system tray
- Alerts user when they status of their central changes
- Identifies which central you are currently on, as well as the gateway name
- Can be loaded with windows
- Informs users of how much they are likely to be charged (including breach charges)
- Measures current speed, while ignoring local network traffic (unlike other b/w monitors)
- Support for multiple lines from within the same enta billing account
   
- Shows current speed history as a graph, and tally's today's usage (not available elsewhere)
- Graph can be separated to its own window, where its translucency can be set
- Graph distinguishes between total (black), download (red), and upload (yellow).
- Graph colours are configurable, and can be given a margin
   
- Shows accumulated monthly usage in percentage bars
- Identifies your offpeak limit from your peak plan
- Shows this months usage in system tray
- Identifies your next billing date, and the number of days remaining until it
- Calculates how much peak/offpeak you have remaining, and how much this amounts to per day remaining

Usage report:

- Shows days left until billing date, with how much bandwidth has been consumed thus far
- Totals the bandwidth used and displays how much is remaining
- Calculates your average usage per day
- Calculates how much you have left per remaining offpeak (weekends) and peak day.
- Predicts how much bandwidth you are likely to have consumed by your billing date
- Percent bars show how much bandwidth you've used per day, and how this has effected your total

Central report:

- Shows performance of each central on a graph
- Shows which central you are on
- Displays the central performance and centrals load over the past 24 hours

Converter:

- Converts speeds between different measurements. E.g. Kilobits per second (line profile) into Kilobytes per second (downloads)
- Calculates how long it would take to download any given file at any given speed in days, hours, minutes and seconds
